2023

Top Performer of Perform Achieve & Trade (PAT) Cycle II under the National Mission for Enhanced Energy Efficiency (NMEEE)

GACL has been honoured with the prestigious National Award for its Dahej Complex under the category of Top Performer Designated Consumer for the Chlor Alkali Sector of Perform Achieve & Trade (PAT) Cycle II under the National Mission for Enhanced Energy Efficiency (NMEEE) on the occasion of the 21st BEE Day and the celebration of the 1st Decade of the PAT Scheme—an initiative by the Ministry of Power, Government of India in March 2023.
At the 50th Flower, Fruits, and Bonsai Exhibition/Competition, GACL was awarded second place in two categories: Class C Flowers and F Cut Flowers in February 2023. The event was organized by The Baroda Agri Horticulture Committee (BAHC) with the Department of Horticulture, Government of Gujarat, and other organizations supporting horticulture, gardening, and bonsais.

17th National Award from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India for Excellence in Cost
Management

GACL was honoured with “Best Digital Transformation in Public Sector” by GESIA (Gujarat Electronics & Software Industries Association) Annual Awards 2022 (12th Edition) – Recognizing Excellence of Gujarat’s ICT Industry in Oct 2022.
The Certificate of Merit by the GST Department, Ministry of Finance, Government of India in July 2022, for Best Compliance on the occasion of completing 5 years of the GST Era.
17th National Award 2019 from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India for Excellence in Cost Management in April 2022. Significantly, winning this prestigious recognition is a rare distinction achieved by GACL, as it has won this National Award consecutively for three years: 2017, 2018, and 2019, under the category of Manufacturing – Public – Medium.
1st Runners-up in the ‘Annual Award for Outstanding Young Managers’ by the Baroda Management Association in March 2022.

Strategic Performance Award’ from the Governance Now 8th PSU Awards

‘HR Corona Warriors Award’ in August 2021, from the Society of Human Resource Professionals (SHRP), in recognition of impactful contributions during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Safety Awards 2015 – Certificate of Appreciation awarded by the National Safety Council of India in 2016 for recognition of appreciable achievement in Occupational Safety & Health during the Assessment period of three years – 2012 – 2014.
